The main drainage pumps (self-balancing multistage type) for the Čukaru Peki Copper-Gold Mine of Zijin Mining in Serbia have been successfully dispatched.

On April 23, 2026, a batch of wear-resistant multistage centrifugal pumps that have passed commissioning at Hunan Sanchang Pump Industry were loaded and shipped to the site of Zijin Mining’s project in Serbia. This marks another important achievement in China's pump industry’s overseas cooperation with the mining sector.

Zijin Mining’s Serbia project serves as a benchmark under its overseas priority strategy and the Belt and Road Initiative for mining cooperation. Endowed with world-class mineral resources, the project is advancing technical renovation and expansion to build Europe’s largest copper mining enterprise, with extremely high requirements for supporting equipment. The equipment supplied this time by Hunan Sanchang Pump Industry is custom-developed to meet the core demands of mining exploitation and mineral processing at the project.

Flow rate 920 m³/h, head 1313 m; key flow passage components are made of stainless steel, with a supporting motor rated power of up to 5000 kW. Featuring advantages such as high head, corrosion resistance and stable operation, these pumps can be used for mine drainage and long-distance liquid transportation, solving the demand for ultra-long and ultra-high distance drainage in mines.
